The Solid Phase Bio-Processes are based om magnetic and non-magnetic micro and nano particles coated with affinity ligands or enzymes for medium to large scale separation or catalytic modification of bio-molecules.
Target applications for "out-of-laboratory" testing are detection and quantitative analysis of infectious agents, hormones, antibiotics, toxins etc. based on sensitive microparticle capture of target molecules, combined with microelectronic sensing and wireless transmission of test results.
